Isilo was one of the last giant tusker elephants who lived in Tembe Elephant Park in South Africa. He stood 3 meters tall. I was lucky enough to see him shorty before he died. I felt his shadowy presence would always patrol the Tembe lands.
 
This painting began with written reflections, covered by pours, bursts and drips of color. This is an original  painting.
